Abstract

This article was a research about the factors that lead teachers to choose which school to teach, relate these factors and check if they have something to do with the teachers’ formation or if this choice has other features, besides pedagogical reasons. Through interviews and questionnaires with teachers, this article shows the scene of a school of Regional Education Board SUl I. This school reached the school targets set by IDESP in 2014. The results presented in this article indicate the main factors that led teachers to work in this school, in different degrees of importance.
