Abstract

Abstract: This study analyzes the impact of the emotional bond on the teaching-learning process in higher education and its impact on students' academic performance. Through a bibliographical review, based on authors such as Vygotsky, Piaget, Wallon and Bronfenbrenner, the integration between affectivity and cognition as a facilitator of learning is explored. The analysis reveals that an educational environment based on empathy and emotional support promotes motivation, engagement and academic adaptation, contributing to the student's comprehensive education. The results highlight the importance of pedagogical practices that prioritize the emotional bond in building inclusive environments and overcoming socioeconomic challenges.
