Abstract

This article analyzes factors that affect suicide, through a case study involving a 24-year-old girl. The research examines psychosocial and relational aspects that may have influenced their decision, based on documentary sources, such as police investigations, expert reports and family reports, in addition to integrating theoretical discussions about mental health and social influences. The objective is to understand the personal and contextual interactions associated with the suicidal act, highlighting the risk and protective factors identifiable in the specific case and highlighting the importance of strengthening social support networks as a prevention strategy.
