Abstract

he pursuit of continuous improvement within companies, aiming at increased sales, profit maximization, and cost reduction, highlights the importance of well-trained employees. Candidate selection plays a crucial role in this process, being fundamental for corporate competitiveness. Analyzing the company's selection team structure, investigating possible gaps or deviations in the process conducted by them, and evaluating the benefits of the selections made. The research was conducted using bibliographic methods and case study, involving exploratory analysis and in-depth interpretation of data collected through interviews. The study addressed the correct interview conduct process, the need During the analyzed period, setbacks were identified in the selection process, such as the absence of a dedicated team, high employee turnover rate, and lack of standardization in evaluation criteria. The results point to the urgent need for review and improvement in the company's recruitment and selection processes, including the creation of a specific team, standardization of evaluation criteria, and investment in training programs. These measures are essential to reduce identified problems and ensure more efficient and fair choices in the selection process.
