Abstract

Ensuring the maintenance of competitiveness in the present day requires valuing human capital by investing in behavioral management that operates with effective selection processes, training, and employee management, adding attractiveness to the company. Understanding whether small businesses have already adopted behavioral management in the selection process, as well as the damages caused by its absence. A qualitative exploratory research with semi-structured interviews with questions. The respondents are 12 individuals involved in the selection process in small businesses. The study revealed issues of conflicts and high turnover in some of them.
